3-Step Pure Vitamin C Stabilization Technology
- Delivering fresh pure vitamin C concentrate to the skin safely
Vitamin C has been widely used in cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries for its effects of brightening the skin, promoting collagen synthesis to improve the skin’s firmness and removing oxygen free radicals resulting from exposure to UV rays. However, vitamin C for cosmetics is water-soluble, which means it is easily decomposed and oxidized in an aqueous solution, and because of its instability, its cosmetic application has been limited.
Our research lab developed a new technology for the stabilization of vitamin C and used it to develop new functional cosmetic products.
Through long years of research, our research lab developed 3-step pure vitamin C stabilization technology using special scientific stabilization methods and presented it at the IFSCC 2007 held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
First, pure vitamin C and moisturizer are combinded to protect the vitamin C against water from the outside.
Second, silicone oil and a high-molecular-weight silicone are used to prevent contamination by blocking the flow of air and lastly a completely sealed container blocks sunlight.
Our 3-step stabilization technology ensures the stability of pure vitamin C, which is easily affected by water, air and sunlight, so it can be kept fresh for a long time and delivered to the skin effectively while it is still fresh.
