Sheet mask has been one of the best-selling cosmetic products for being a quick and simple skincare solution that provides soothing, moisturizing and firming effects. In particular, hydrogel mask has been much loved as it completely adheres to the face and yet feels less sticky. It does, however, have somewhat poor breathability and absorption.
Our research lab developed technology that dramatically improves the adherence, elasticity (stretch) and breathability of the hydro gel sheet using water-soluble polyurethane, which has excellent elasticity and the property of adhering well to the skin.
This technology offers great elasticity (stretch) and resilience, meaning that it allows you to move around while wearing the sheet and prevent ordinary tearing and damage. It also has a greater water-holding capacity than common hydrogel, which keeps the sheet in shape with a watery texture for months and thereby increases the satisfaction of hydrogel users.
Hydrogel composition for facial mask containing water-soluble polyurethane obtained patent in Korea (Korea: patent no.10-1500987) and in China (China: ZL 2015 1 0898504.4), raising expectations for the development of new products targeting the Chinese market along with the completion of our new plant in Huzhou, China.
